The ambiance of La Pitchoune, as Provence 1970 author Luke Barr said, is a bit "freewheeling and a little tipsy". La Peetch is a luxuriously appointed, yet unfussy space for cooking languid meals straight from our raised-bed garden, and backyard chickens. It's rural, it's petite (La Pitchoune literally means 'the little one'), and it is a pseudo museum that lauds times long past.

Built on the land of Simone Beck, Paul and Julia Child had ‘the little thing’ constructed as a low-maintenance vacation home, where they spent nearly half their year for many many years. Now it’s available to rent year-round, with a staff that absolutely loves to cater to the desires and whims of our guests.
